Swim Team update:
Summer Session begins Monday June 2nd. Groups will be assigned according to age and ability. Please check at the pool for your child's group and time.
Many of you have been asking about swim wear. It is not necessary to have the WST (Woodbridge Swim Team) swim wear, but we do need the swimmers to wear a basic black suit to all the meets. They may wear whatever they like to practice, but we like to have our swimmers look the same for the meets. You may purchase the WST suits at Swim Depot. They are located at 23552 Commerce Center Dr. Laguna Hills, 92653 and their phone number is (949) 457-1968. Jean is the owner and happy to help with suit fitting.
Practice will begin on Monday, June 2nd at StoneCreek. Please have your child attend their assigned time and plan on staying at least until they are comfortable within their group. Just a warning…It will be a bit hectic the first week while Coach Dawn assesses the swimmers and makes sure they are in the appropriate group. Please try not to interrupt while she is teaching as we need her fully focused on our children, but do ask questions before or after a group.
Practice is offered 5 days a week, but it is not mandatory to attend everyday. We realize many of our swimmers are busy with other activities and school work so just try and get them to the pool as much as possible. The more days they swim, the better and more relaxed they will become.
We are so excited for the coming season and look forward to seeing you around the pool.
