for the fall are the same as last year.
For new swimmers: learn to swim and advanced learn to swim groups are every half hour from 4:00-5:30 pm. The class is 25 minutes long. Parents can pick their preferred practice time, however adjustments may be made if a group is too full.
Level 2 swimmers: 45 minute level 2 groups are at 4:00 to 4:45 pm
Level 3 swimmers: 5:00 to 6:00 pm
Level 4 swimmers: 1.5 hour group is from 4:30 to 6:00
Learn to swim groups - all groups are 25 minutes. Practice is in the shallow end of the pool. This group is for ages 3 and up, must be able to follow directions and not fall off the steps.
Advanced learn to swim groups - 25 minute lessons. Practice is in the deep end of the pool, diving area, must be able to make it across the deep end of the pool.
Level 1 swimmers (can swim 1 lap freestyle) 30 minute sessions
Level 2 swimmers (can swim 1 lap freestyle) 45 minutes
Level 3 swimmers (lap swimmers in all 4 strokes) 1 hour
Level 4 swimmers (advanced lap swimmers) 1 and 1/2 hour sessions
Your group will be determined by the coaches the first day of swim team, certain time requests will try to be accommodated.
Most of the returning kids know what level they are, please check with the coaches if you are not sure what level your child should swim. Start at the lowest level and they can advance quickly.
Groups will be changing the first week and we will try to allow for time change requests.
