MEET INFORMATION
Meet Schedule Summer 2010:
Meet Protocol:
Sign up sheets will be at the pool the week before the meets. You must sign up by highlighting your swimmers name on the list and choosing the strokes that they want to swim. If you have questions, ask your coach for recommendations.
Arrive on time for all meets! All meets have an 8:00 a.m. warm-up time. Coaches will not warm up individual children as they arrive so make sure they are on time. The coaches also need to know who is there so they can form relay teams. If you child is late, they may get scratched from the relay team.
Check in and write your swimmer’s event numbers down. Parent volunteers will be helping with this. Parents also need to check in if they are working a volunteer shift during the meet.
Get your child to the ready bench as their event number is posted. If they are late to the bench, they will miss their event.
No swimmers are allowed in the pool during the meet! Each facility had different rules concerning Jacuzzis and wader pools during the meet so check beforehand.
Stay until the end of the meet. If you need to leave early, check with your coach to make sure they are not in the freestyle relay which is the last event of the day.

• August 14- Irvine Swim League Championship Meet at Woollett Aquatic Center! Our end of the season party will begin at 5:00 with awards and great food!
