Welcome back! I don’t know about you, but my summer
passed in the blink of an eye. It seems like we
just celebrated at our Year End Party at Woodpine
Park. But regardless, it’s time to get back into
our school routines, and make this a fantastic year
for our kids.
One of the goals of the PTA Board this year is to increase parent involvement, finding a place for everyone to use their talents. Please look over the enclosed volunteer opportunity form, and see how many ways there are for you to help. Check out our website www.stonecreekpta.org for further information on each opportunity. And read through our newsletter, it will be chock full of information and important dates.
I encourage you to join the PTA, not only do you receive a student directory, but you become a part of the most powerful child advocacy program in our country. Through your membership dollars, and our focused fundraising efforts, we are able to enhance the educational environment at Stone Creek. Some of the things funded by your PTA dollars include: lower grade music, extra days for our school nurse and new computers for our computer lab.
