A Stone Creek tradition, the annual JOG-A-THON is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Students will receive pledge sheets in February. Sponsorships are available now through Feb. 1, 2010. All sponsors will be printed on the back of the JOG-A-THON t-shirts. The rate is $250 for a logo advertisement; $100 for a one-line ad. Contact ajacobsen@comcast.net for more information.

Scholastic Book Fair
100% percent of the proceeds from the Book Fair will go directly to the Stone Creek library. This translates into a better selection of books and more Reading Counts tests for our kids. The next Book Fair will be held May 24-27, 2010.

Ralph’s & Albertson’s
Just by shopping, you can earn money for our school. Several stores in our area will donate money directly to Stone Creek based on your purchases. Link your Albertson’s or Ralph’s cards to Stone Creek and we will receive bonus checks throughout the school year. Last year, Stone Creek received nearly $800 from these stores. It takes less than five minutes to link your card.
To register your Ralph’s card, go to www.ralphs.com. Sign in or create a new account. Once you have created your account, click on “Edit Community Contribution Program Information,” then select Stone Creek (#82558).

RecycleFest
This is a year-long project to promote recycling and earn money for our school. Donate ink jet cartridges as well as used electronic items such cell phones, digital cameras, PDAs, video game consoles, GPS systems, and laptops. A collection box is located in the school office. A box of old cell phones can mean $600 for our school! A donation box is located in the school office.

Juice It Up!

Stay cool and get healthy with smoothies from Juice It Up! Every Wednesday after school, smoothies can be purchased for $3 each. Stone Creek will receive $1 for every smoothie sold. Some schools in Irvine have raised more than $3,000 from smoothie sales.

Ruby’s Night
Don't have time to cook? Go to Ruby's between 4-9 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month. Ruby's will donate a portion of all sales to Stone Creek! Don't forget to bring the flyer that your child brings home before the event!

This is a super easy way to raise money for Stone Creek. Just clip the Box Tops coupon on participating products and turn it in to your child's teacher. Each month, a Juice It Up! smoothie is awarded to the top collector in the lower and upper grades and to our random drawing pick. To be eligible for the drawing, put your child's name and teacher's name on the baggy with your Box Tops. Last year, we collected $896 just from your box tops. Get your family and friends to clip too!

Gift Wrap Sale
Thank you to every student and parent who participated in the Gift Wrap Fundraiser. We sold $19,608.95 in merchandise, surpassing our goal by over $500. A whopping 50% of the total went directly to Stone Creek!

Please make your $100 check made payable to Stone Creek PTA (this is a tax deductible donation). You may also want to consider donating your time to help support these fundraisers. For example, you could volunteer for a two-hour shift at the Book Fair or help track laps at the Jog-A-Thon.
